The Forgotten Sons, a motorcycle group of active-duty Marines, will hold a group motorcycle ride Saturday to raise money for the Beaufort County Humane Association of the Lowcountry. Registration for the Blood Hound Run will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at R Bar off S.C. 170 in Ridgeland. The cost for the day-long ride will be $15 per person or $25 per couple. Following the run, motorcyclists will return for food from Jersey Joe's and music by Souls Harbour. Read the story here.

Totally cool! A great idea to help a great cause.
They are expecting a good turn out for this rally, so you might want to get to R-Bar a little early for registration. The MC I ride with will be participating!!
Stops I can remember are: HH Motor Sports, Scooners and I think AMVETS, of course ending @ R Bar. Sure hope their A/C is working now...
Start at R-Bar in Callawassie, HH MotorSports, Schooners in Ridgeland, Confederate Railroad, then whatever the name of the bar is now that used to be Kims place across from MCAS, then back to R-Bar for the festivities!!!
I don't think it's for the Humane Association. Its for Veteran's Homes & something else; I can't remember what the flyer said.
Forgotten Sons will be making several presentations to various Veteran's groups though. I don't know if the presentations are monies they have collected on previous runs or if the presentations will be plaques or certificates.
