A partnership between Port Royal and the Arts Council of Beaufort County would create an artists' co-op and nucleus for Port Royal is tinkering with a plan to rejuvenate the downtown arts scene by partnering with the Arts Council of Beaufort County to create an artists' co-op and nucleus for community arts at The Shed on Paris Avenue. I really hope this partnership happens. I have fond memories of The Shed, performed and watched performances there. This will be a great venue for the community as well as an outlet for local artists. We need this space. I look forward to hearing about the developments!
