Are you for, or against the new Wal Mart opening up on Ladies Island?

Comments

Just to be clear, yes means you are FOR the Wal Mart and no means you are AGAINST the Wal Mart

...do we get to vote?

I would prefer it if everybody only voted once...As far as I know, you can only vote once, but I might not have checked something.

I just figured with all the debate going on right now about the new Wal Mart that I would start a poll to see what the bloggers thought.

I think it's a great idea.

Have you tested it to make sure everyone can only vote once?

how do find this poll on the website?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking friend? Can you clarify?

...by "recent comments" column,i.e. by clicking on one of the recent comments, if there is one. However, if you are coming onto the Beaufort Gazette website for the first time, how would you locate the Wal-Mart poll? I am just trying to keep track of the results.

When you find it bookmark its page on your internet browser.

Otherwise it gets completely lost.

That, or you can go to "My Account", the click on track, and it keeps track of all of your post. So if you post in the poll, you can keep track of it. I'm not sure if it tracks it for you if you voted or not.

Just now checking the poll of readers views on the construction of the Lady's Island SuperCenter WalMart the vast majority continue to favor the store.

After looking at the City of Beaufort website of the planned layout it seems very good, lots of retention pond area (3) and much tree landscaping. Unfortunately it does seem the the entire parking lot will be shadeless.

Overall I think it will have a positive influence on Lady's Island.

Go for it!

I just can't say either way. Both sides of the issue have made valid points for and against WalMart on LI.
