jesus dick!

"if your'e going to shoot a lawyer better shoot to kill" haha, not a funny story really. this man obviously shouldn't be in charge of weapons. "the quail may or may not have had wmd" "if he was aiming at the quail and especially if he actually shot the quail, then the victim was unfortunately just 'collateral damage'." "should he be allowed to keep doing this? i mean., should his license be revoked? how many times does one get to do this?" the jokes go on ad nauseum. these quotes came off a website 'paddling.net' i wish he would just go away.

His license didn't have the proper stamp so it wasn't legal. There are also some questions about him taking a hunter's safety course before he received a license. But never fear, he won't have to pay a fine. All he did was shoot someone.

There is some question about the accident. Was the quail walking instead of flying, or was the lawyer dressed like a bird? We may never know since the VP's office is not providing much information.

Whatever the case, it is another proud day for the administration and another warning to anyone that dares to cross them.

Now be realistic, would you rather be hunting with Chaney or driving with Kennedy? Better yet would you rather be driving and hunting with whom? Not Ted, then again he would probably pop himself not you.

Tough question. I am not sure about about hunting with either of these guys. They remind me of a guy that I met when leaving the woods after a few hours of hunting some time ago. He was going in and stopped me to engage in some small talk. Then he asked me if I could show him how to load the shot gun that he was carrying. I was glad to be leaving the area.

Getting back to your point. I'm not sure how Ted got into this conversation, but I would much rather have Cheney on my team than Ted. Cheney comes closer to the "one shot, one kill" philosophy, although he still needs a little practice.

surely you are kidding. do you mean he is intentionally killing thousands of innocents in iraq?

No, I don't think that I even mentioned Iraq. Did I miss something?

Dannyb9,

Your bleeding heart for the "thousands" of "innocent" Iraqis is touching. I for one have not lost any sleep over them. I do have great concern and sympathy for those Americans that have lost their lives or been wounded defending our country. God Bless them and protect them.

Please pack it up and seek life elsewhere.

If people have serious disagreements, can't most issues be debated using facts instead of emotions? For example, the decisions of the "elites" are much different than a military person following orders. We can relate to the military person that follows orders because of our own military experience or similar social status. But few people can relate to the "elites" who seem to live very different lives than the average American. Oh sure Cheney, goes hunting just like a real "guy," but when was the last time that he went grocery shopping or waited in a line at the post office? Kennedy, Clinton, Bush and the rest of the elites live in a totally different world than the average person, but many average people continually try to relate to them.

One thing for sure, the "elites' sure manage to keep us common folks divided and passionate about the decisions that they make. We seem to resort to that passion when we run out of facts. Did you ever hear the advice "put your heads together?" Perhaps it would help us accomplish more.

Forget about not having a quail stamp...he didn't have a Texas hunting license at all! Guess rank has it's priveledge because they don't take kindly to poachers in Texas.... More disturbing though is that once again these folks think the laws apply to everyone but them.
