Something Zoomer might like
Submitted by topgunscooter on Wed, 2008-07-23 10:30.I ran into this website and thought it might be of interest. www.pickensplan.com . It is a plan for fuel and energy resources by T. Boone Pickens (a well known oil magnate). It makes sense.

PALS needs a wake up call!
Submitted by topgunscooter on Fri, 2008-06-27 22:32.I had the pleasure once again to see a fabulous ball game tonight. I'm not going to give the results because someone else who comes here does it all the time and I will leave that to her. I've seen many many games in Beaufort County and other places as well as having played in, coached, or officiated many in several areas. I have never seen a more talented and dedicated group of young players than I have have seen in Beaufort. Tonight, like most other times I have watched the kids play here, I was not disappointed, I was thrilled with their play!

UCB, I have a mission for you...
Submitted by topgunscooter on Mon, 2008-06-02 00:57.I have a friend who is among quite a few residents along Clarendon Road that are about to be unceremoniously dispossessed of the land their homes sit on. According to what they have been told the corporation I have listed below quietly purchased the land upon which their mobile homes are placed, as well as other properties along Clarendon Rd. Apparently the owners of the land leased to the mobile home owners did not announce the sale until after the closing.

Resignation
Submitted by topgunscooter on Wed, 2008-05-21 21:28.I have thoroughly enjoyed the banter here for the last 4 years or so, it has truly been fun. I was chastised earlier and told that I and another blogger needed to cut out our 1 on 1 confrontations or we would be banned. Well, I am banning myself!

Something to consider
Submitted by topgunscooter on Mon, 2008-05-19 01:32.I ran into this article from the Palmetto Scoop while cruising the internet for information on local issues. I absolutely do not mean it as any sort of negative post, especially since it relates to on the job performance by a current local candidate. It is not about personal issues nor is it my opinion. It is about professional performance and ethics, and it does bear consideration. I have no idea if it is true or not, I was not there, and I am not making accusations.
Blixxer II Check-in
Submitted by topgunscooter on Sat, 2008-05-17 18:06.The last info that was posted said that the next Blixxer was to be next Saturday the 24th at 7 pm at Brewers again. I'm in, who else? Let's try to sign in at least tentatively so we can get some sort of idea how many folks to expect. _UCB, we've arranged curb service for you at your perch atop Bilo. The carhop isn't on the payroll and has no idea who will be up there....your identity is safe! She will be unarmed and not wired as per the terms of the Geneva Curb Service Convention.
Sign up!!! The last one was fun, this one should be better!

Do You Beilieve in Magic?
Submitted by topgunscooter on Sat, 2008-05-17 01:10.I was already awake when the sun rose in the east shortly before 6am Friday morning. I arose slowly and headed toward the kitchen to start the coffee. As I made my first journey of the day, the obsession that would consume the next 13 hours of my life began to take shape. It started as a strange craving, or perhaps a thought that refused to reveal itself. I showered, sucked down the much needed coffee and resigned myself to face the day and go to work. Something was bothering me, but I couldn’t put a name on it!

I need a math check.....
Submitted by topgunscooter on Wed, 2008-05-07 10:40.With the North Carolina and Indiana primaries out of the way, there are only six primaries left. Those six offer a total of 217 Democratic delegates, that's it, that's all that remain. Obama needs 184.5 delegates to clinch and Clinton needs 344. It doesn't seem likely that the "super delegate" contribution could overcome that difference. To me it appears mathematically impossible or at least highly unlikely that Clinton can win. Obama can barely succeed based on math. It appears the only thing Clinton can do is force the Dem selection to the floor of the Democratic Convention.

Oh...What A Wonderful World.
Submitted by topgunscooter on Mon, 2008-05-05 23:39.I thought it would be nice to thank the Gazette (my arch-nemisis) for providing this fabulous blog! What a wonderful place to share opinions and bag on those we don't like. It's like having the 15 minutes of fame that Andy warhol promised to all of us! Thanks McClatchy and the Gazette, we're almost even!!!! Until we are, I'm having fun and I hope you are too!!!!!!!! I'm very serious and genuine, no sarcasm intended.
Luv & Kisses..
