Police K-9 Article

Police K-9 Hugo will do an excelent job for police officer Seth Berezany. How do I know? Because I work with officer Bereznay. He is very thoughful in his K-9 duties, he has made numerous drug search/arrests, and he truly cares about the health, safety, and welfare of the police K-9, and just like Lieutenant Kenninger says, officer Bereznay treats retired K-9
"Hunter" like it was his own child. He protected "Hunter", took the K-9 for regular medical check ups and other things that true animal lovers do.

$850 Million in Tax Cuts. Thank Catherine Ceips!

From a new website - http://thankyoucatherine.com

"During her time in the General Assembly, Catherine Ceips has been a strong voice for fiscal responsibility. Since 2005, she has supported over $850 million in tax cuts. Here are the highlights:

$500,000,000 IN PROPERTY TAX RELIEF
$220,000,000 IN INCOME AND GROCERY TAX RELIEF
$130,000,000 IN SMALL BUSINESS INCOME TAX CUTS

I guess this should answer those that say what has Ceips done. Looks like she has done, and will continue to do, alot.

Thank you to a stranger

Thank you to the woman in the Boundary Street Bi-Lo this afternoon, who offered to help me pay for a package of hamburger, when she saw that I didn't have enough cash to cover it. What a kind, sweet angel you are. Today you restored my faith in the goodness of humanity. I'll be praying for you! Thank you again.

Who's the most lenient and strick police department? City, Port Royal, County

I myself have always heard conflicting opinions from friends and others about who is the most lenient and who is the most unforgiving police force in town. From my personal experience of being ticketed and warned, I've actually have to give praise to city police department (black squad cars), for their less demeaning approach when pulling you over. Once I was pulled on Battery Creek drive for going 46 in a 30, sounds like i was asking for it right?

Has the Exodus From the School District Begun!

A friend from Hilton Head just informed me that there was an article in their Friday paper that Dr. Briggs, one of the school district's senior administrators, is leaving the school district to be Executive Director of the Hilton Head Symphony. I know that Dr. Briggs was highly respected by the Hilton Head community and the folks she worked with in the district as a dedicated, fair, and hard working educator.

The Creek isn't all bad

I am avid reader of the posted blogs and it really bothers me when it appears that many residents of this county have decided that there is a black sheep amongst the area's high school. I have had the pleasure of having an unobstructed and unbiased view of all the high schools in the area. Yes, there are schools that seem to have more than others, but no one has taken the clientele served by each school into account or the leadership in each building.

OBAMA'S MUSLIM PAST- DO YOU REALLY WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE?

Obama IS a Muslim. Muslim law states if you are born into it by means of the father, you ARE a Muslim.
Leaving Islam punishable by death: Mohammed said, "Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him." Koran, Vol. 9:57
> Obama stated he was a Muslim in 'Dreams of My Father', yet today his camp denys it, supports Islam and his closest associates and biggest supporters financially are Muslims.

>Obama's father, grandfather, gg grandfather and stepfather have a history of multiple wives (pologamy) mistresses and 'wives' where no marriage license can be found.

Please share the road

With nice weather here, outdoor exercising such as walking and jogging is on the rise. Runners and walkers face traffic, and when we can, we use sidewalks; however, in many neighborhoods we must use the road. I urge all drivers to please share the road. Don't feel like you HAVE to stay in your lane - it is so easy to slow down and if no other vehicles are coming to merge into the other lane for the runner or walker. I cannot understand those of you who have the attitude that it is your lane, and you're gonna own it. It is not safe nor is it necessary.

A memorable 2nd grade

MEMORIES FROM A 2ND GRADE CLASS

The 2nd grade was a memorable time for me. My dad was stationed in Key West, Florida during WWII and we lived in Fort Taylor on base. The nearest school for dependents was a Catholic school run by nuns. Being a Methodist, I had some things to learn.

The nuns were very strict. This order must have not evolved since the 1500s when everyone punished themselves with pain for being so evil. I’ll bet each nun had stripes on her back and they weren’t sympathetic with wayward students either.
