REMEMBER THE ANEXATION!!!

I hope voters for Beaufort"s mayorial race will remember the underhanded vote for the McCleod and Claranden parcels. I remember the meeting at Beaufort High when the peoples voice was ignored and a vote taken. These politicians were elected to represent us..not ignore us. To this day , we have not been told what really happened. The only viable candidate I can see is Billy Keyserling. The rallying cry for this election should be..REMEMBER THE ANEXATION!!

But did Mr.Keyserling have something to do with selling the property?

From what the county records report, someone not only sold the property but one of the business groups owns a large section of land north of the new high school building site. got to wonder how that happened...(Beaufort Works, LLC,) in this case Beaufort works.. just wonder if the Mayors job pays enough to cover the property tax. oh wait, the corporation pays the tax..

Mr. Keyserling's job is to sell property.

Reguardless if Mr. Keyserling owns property or was involved in trying to sell property in or around Clarendon or Mcleod"s farm he was not an elected official at the time of the annexation. Beer was.

I totally agree. Billy has the vision and the integrity we need to lead the city!

Billy was the guy pushing the annexation. The annexation was the issue that Billy used to claim ethics charges against rauvh. If Billy had not wanted the annexation, Rauch would not have asked for anything. Billy owned part of the property being annexed.

a vision of a hometown 60 years ago when he and others could not even assocaiate with regular folks, when the seperation of color and ran deep, when those w/money ensured that the hired folk knew their place is not a vision for a future it's a reality of a sad past. We seem to forget, that integrity relates to how a life is lived, all of the life. The apple fell far from the tree in this case and people whom know realize that integrity is not part of the package.
