NewslettersArmed Robbery of Delivery Driver on Poppy Hill Road
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating the armed robbery of a delivery driver on Poppy Hill Road yesterday afternoon.
Just after 2:00 pm yesterday, deputies met with a 50-year-old female Quizno's delivery driver, who advised she had just been robbed at gunpoint on Poppy Hill Road. The driver stated that she had gone to 115 Poppy Hill Road to deliver an order. Upon arrival, she was summoned by an individual standing in the driveway at 117 Poppy Hill Road.
The suspect, described as a black male, approximately 5'03”, 180 lbs. wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt called her over. The driver, assuming the suspect was the person who had placed the order walked over to him. As she approached, the suspect presented a handgun and demanded she hand over all the money she had on her.
The driver complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then instructed the driver to get back in her vehicle and leave, which she did. She sustained no injuries during the incident.
The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with any information to please contact either Investigator Cpl. J. Fraser at 843-470-3267 or the Beaufort County Dispatch Center at 843-524-2777.

Ok, so this genius you KNOW was probably standing in his front yard - saw the delivery person or called them hisself.
This really cannot be a very hard crime to solve. . . .
This is why nobody will deliver pizzas out to gray's hill. Why do people have to be so stupid? Sometimes I'm way to honest and nice for this world.
It was only an armed robbery.....what's the big deal.
I see that there was another shooting. However the woman was from Yemassee and apparently didn't attend many marksmanship classes, because she missed her intended targets. If such "misses" continue it could give the area a bad name.
attend public school I guess we have to blame it on their home schooling. Or would that be homey schooling. That's it...they attended Homey in the Hood schooling. And marksmanship nor gun safety was a required core subject. They probably majored in Bustin' a Sag, Rap 101, Stealin from Grandma(mom), and the grad requirement...the "throwing sneakers over a power line" exit exam.

That explains why he robbed a Quizno's driver and not a bank, he was hungry.
So really how hard can it be to find this guy, the looks like Fat Albert!
