Does anyone know that josh's roommate had just moved in two weeks prior to this incident?...does anyone know that josh's apt was broken into the week before and a gun was stolen...seems kind of strange that these perps would only kill josh and not his roomate...does anyone think that maybe this roommate set him up for this?...anyone?

They probably did not mean to kill Josh...who knows? They probably came to rob or scare with the guns. I don't know...I am not a thug!

You do not seem like the same person that started this blog. The first one seemed young, angry and with revenge on his mind and you seem much older. Are you family from Becky's or JR's side of the family?
Josh worked for me years ago at OB. And he held a special place in my heart. And I believe he cared for me also. You say do not believe everything that paper is saying, well the paper has said nothing but that two men came in etc. The blogs are the ones that are saying things. In fact, that is how I found out in the first place yesterday. And it seemed yesterday that the ones blogging were either his friends or someone that knew of the situation.
I know that Josh did hang out with some unsavory characters, I do not know that he dealt drugs or not because I was never in the market and that is something that he would def. not share with me! I have been reading everything being said the last two days and you are so right...no matter what he was doing or not doing he did not deserve this!
And as much as it hurts, you have to be honest with yourself. And as much as I cared for Josh, I am a true believer that most things that happen in life is a direct result of a decision that you have made.
I do not know the whole story, I was not there! But you are the one that put another spin on it. Could it have been drug related? Could it have been just two guys getting revenge for something and they got the wrong guy? Could it have been gang related? Could it have been a set up? But if it was a set up...WHY? I don't know the answers to that. I keep reading hoping to find the answers.
I went to school with JR back in the day and back then you had Beaufort High and Battery Creek "boys", you didn't have all the nonsence that they have today. The Beaufort boys, the Burton boys, the Island boys! Josh tried to explain to more than once the difference and I would just laugh and say YOU HAROLD...you live in Polk Village! You are all Beaufort boys!! Back in my day, if the guys had an issue with someone they put up their dukes and fought away..but now its a whole different ball game. It's scary! Our kids are out running around playing with guns!! Not fists...but guns!
Speaking of guns, the reason the question was relevant about whether Josh reported the gun shows character for those that didn't know him. You have to understand that these people did not know Josh, they are only meeting him thru the blogs and all they have heard is bad so far. Arrest record, accusations that he was a drug dealer. If you have something to show that even though he did make bad decisions but he also made some good ones...then share it with these people!! Quit defending the bad decisions...yes they were bad! Reputation stays around along time after you are gone...and I knew a sweet great guy that always ended up in the wrong place and the wrong time. A young man that would go out of his way to see me. To ask how I was, my family. He would do anything I asked of him. He did not care who he was with when he saw me He would come hug my neck and say I just wanted to say hi. And I would say Josh...are you staying out of trouble. Oh yes ma'am! Josh, don't make me come beat you, and he would just laugh and say I got this!
When you defend the bad decisions that he might have made you are only proving to those that are reading that he was this bad guy that he is being made out to be. I am just looking for the truth. No execuses...just the truth...no matter how hard that might be!
Had things back in the day been settled like today then JR would never had been around for someone would have capped his azz. JR was a loud bully who loved to pick on younger and smaller prey. He later graduated to beating up severely intoxicated Marines. The nut didn't fall far from the tree. The next chapter in this Springeresque saga is whether JR has the character to come back for the funeral and thus face the music. No one deserves to die at 21. But a lot of good patriots have died much younger and for a much more noble cause than thuggery and drug dealing. Mess with fire long enough and you end up burned at the stake.

I am just hoping that revenge is not the first thing that comes to people's minds when something such as this happens. Justice would be a better thought, as it can be handed out in many ways. Fate and karma are strange that way.

Honest people don't just get 'setup' for murder without MOTIVE. So which is it?? Money? Drugs? Something else of value to someone?

Bush, this actually does matter, saying that a gun was stolen is an important fact in the case. If it was a legal gun and was reported stolen then Tiger takes a step up the credability scale. If it was an illegal gun, not reported or worse then Tiger steps down a few knotches. True, having an illegal gun is no reason to die, but being involved with illegal and dangerous activities puts you in jeopardy and makes it easier to end up DEAD. IF Tiger was a thug, delt drugs, had a stolen gun, played with fire then he got what was coming to him. I have seen my share of murders and drug murders are usually about who got off the first shot or acted first. If the tension between Tiger and the suspect was tense enough to get him killed then I'd bet that Tiger simply lost the race to the trigger. Someone was going to get killed, If is was not Tiger then we'd be looking at sketches of his face searching for a name. I bet his "friends" would not be standing up for justice then.. Lets Do Lunch..

IF you would read the message right I said I was a child of the author of the bible for 21 years now..meaning i have been a saved child of God for that long... I was 24 when I became "A CHILD OF THE KING" ADD THAT UP...24 + 21=??? just so you know I once lived a life of crime..i once ( a long time ago) did drugs...and was busted several times....but I was able to turn my life around...so I know how it was...My parents didn't raise me to be like that...I MADE CHOICES ON MY OWN..and I paid for them...we all do....it's called free will...you have the choice to do right and the choice to do wrong...we all make bad choices sometimes...and yes we realize that josh made bad choices and paid the ultimate price...but is there anyone writing on this that knows for sure what josh was doing in his life..there are so many conflicting "stories"...who knows for sure...

But I thing if you fill out a Freedom of Information Act form, you can get almost anything. You will need to be able to provide some general information. You can't just ask for a police report involving Joe Smith.

I have to say that when I first read the story, the thought did cross my mind that it was odd that the roommate was only hit on the head, but the victim was murdered. To make it even more strange, the roommate seemed to be unable to identify the assailants.
But, if the roommate only moved in two weeks ago, and Mr. Tiger was involved in drug dealing, as some have said, would it not be possible for the shooters to have a score to settle with him, but not necessarily with the roommate, so they left him out of it? And if the roommate was new, maybe he had never seen the shooter(s) before.
Just thoughts.

Well since you went there Mr. Bush, in the eyes of the law, yes I'm perfect. No arrests, no traffic tickets EVER, not one single ticket and I have been driving for over 40 years. Oh, wait, I did get a parking ticket once, does that count against me? You see in the profession I retired from, an impecible record was required.
Isn't there a Bell Curve of Life somewhere? I bet Eagle has never allowed someone to steal a gun from him and not reported it. Or even had a stolen gun in his house, or taken drugs and sold them. I bet your wrong about the reporting

The answer to this one is obvious.
But knowing what your roommate is doing and being involved in it can be two different things. And if the shooters did not intend to shoot Josh, and the shooting happened in the midst of an argument during which they knew the roommate was knocked out, perhaps they simply ran as fast as possible without even considering shooting/killing the roommate. There seems to be a problem with stupid criminals around here who are so busy trying to cover up or run from what they did that they make mistakes. We need to invite the people who do the Darwin awards to Beaufort. I'm sure they would find lots to choose from.

If his roommate set him up, why was he there? It seems to me that the roommate would have made sure he was not around when the killer(s) were due to show up.

this is why the "Was the break in and robery reported?" is a GOOD QUESTION! Bush... ahhh.... I am not perfect, I'm not going to pretend to be... I can tell you that never once have I had a stolen gun anywhere near me that wasn't in an evidence locker. I know lots of people that have guns... Many of them probably shouldn't have guns, but they are armed, all with legal guns. I know also that bad things happen to people, good and bad. If you want justice for your family member, tell the cops what they need to know. Cooperate, help your family recover from this... you recover from this, and please learn something from this. Even if you just hang loose for a while and wait till Beaufort calms down a little before you go out... life goes on. I don't say that to be crule; I say that cause you and your family have to go on from this. I am sorry this happened to your family. Ya'll are in my prayers.
Imagine the Travelocity gnome with a dip in his mouth and you have Shipper. This kid's had a long sudden fall. Involved or not I would bet he's somewhere right now wishing he had stayed in school and stayed away from dope, dopers, and dope dealers.
A blogger posted that Josh Tiger was a dope dealer. If that was the case, my conclusion of this incident was perhaps he owed money to his dealer. I'm sure his dealer didn't kill him. He probably got some one else to do it for him. These "dope dealers" don't play when it comes to their money. Everyone will have their own opinion on what the situation might have been. The truth will eventually come out.
i happen to know that several people have called the police appatment with imformation on these two boys that killed josh including there names where they live and where one of them works (who is due for work tommorow) also there lisens plates number what is wrong with our police josh was killed wensday and there still is no arrest???
The S/O needs Probable cause to arrest anyone, they are formulating a plan and they will do their magic very soon. Swooping in and knocking heads may make the Bolg Headlines but they will result in the Thugs "Lawyering Up" !!

this is very sad, but give our cops a chance to investigate WELL before they make an arrest. We want to make sure that they do get the right person and that everything is in order so there is no chance the people responsible for this will walk.
Let us please allow the family to have some peace if they can find it in a situation such as this. We don't need gossip and rumors to make an already terrible situation worse. Yes, we know people have their opinions. Some of you may be even right, but does it really matter now. Let us allow a justice system do the best they can and allow God to handle the rest. We each need to examine our own lives and get focused on removing the planks from our own eyes before we tell someone else they need to remove the splinter from theirs. Romans 3:23 states, that all have fallen short of the glory of God. If any of us were to examine the 10 Commandments in Exodus 20 we would know that we all have at least broken one of them and breaking one is still transgression of the Law or SIN. Romans 6:23 states, for the wages of sin is death (that's the eternal kind-in Hell), but it also states, that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. We should obey man's law...the scriptures even tell us to "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's," but ultimately it is the Law of God our Creator that we have to answer to. So please take what I say to heart. If you don't believe what I have given you, I challenge you to test the scripture, test God, and know that He is real. Many great minds, scientists, and scholars have done just that only to come to the conclusion that they were wrong and needed God's forgiveness. That only comes through the blood of Jesus Christ.
