there are many ways we can effect positive change in our beautiful environment. i suggest we slow down. speeding and high speed limits increase wasteful consumption. high traffic speeds discourage alternatives such as bikes, scooters, electric vehicles, and pedestrian traffic. slower speeds are also good for the businesses along our corridors. people are more likely to stop at a business along the way if they are in a slower traffic stream. speeding is wasteful and dangerous. and unpatriotic!
