"The New York Times reported Wednesday U.S. Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, will begin interviewing potential candidates for vice president this weekend. Not included among the Southern governors to be interviewed is Gov. Mark Sanford, who has been mentioned as possible candidate".

"McCain is set to interview Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist this weekend. The Times reports former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will also be interviewed at some point".
