The Gazette needs fashion help!

Reporter Patrick Donohue and I will be attending a change of command ceremony at Parris Island on May 30. The invitation says the dress code is "Lowcountry casual." What does that mean?

...is cargo shorts, a little faded and frayed...definitely a T-Shirt with a few holes as long as the holes are not too big, flip-flops, not the shower kind, and a baseball cap as long as you wear it backwards...that's "lowcountry casual".

While that is certainly casual, it may be a bit too casual. For a female, perhaps a nice sundress or capri pants with a nice top and sandals. For males, a pair of Khaki pants, golf shirt and loafers or boating style shoes.

You might add barefeet instead of the flip-flops.
