about 4 oclock, 3 firetrucks and a few fire rescue trucks and an ambulance were responding to something at the laundrymat on ladies island. anyone know what was going on?

Small fire at Lady's Island Laundromat. My inderstanding is no real damage. Three fire engines a squad or twe and an ambulance is a normal response to a fire call
Slightly before that a armed robbery over there on LI. Not sure where, but I assume the Gazette is right on it.
Also a serious fire on Burroughs Ave in the middle of the night.
A clothes dryer at Lady's Island Laundromat caught fire. Fortunately, someone reported it immediately, and the fire extinguisher inside the laundromat was used to extinguish the fire by LI Fire Department. The only damage was to one clothes dryer.
Fire Department did an excellent job responding quickly and doing very little damage to get behind the dryer to shut off gas lines.
