The Eagles beat Stratford 1-0 tonight to move on to the next round. They will play at home again on Saturday evening at 7:00. Congratulations boys!

This is the state play-offs. It's win or finished at this point. There are two games left prior to the state championship game in Columbia. Beaufort will host Saturday's game against either James Island or Spring Valley (who played tonight also) at 7:00 and, provided they win that game, they will host the next round on May 13th as well. The state championship is at USC's Stone Field on Saturday, May 17th at 7:00 pm. You can check the brackets yourself at:

Ever thought of being a sports reporter?
You know she's going to be at every game anyway, why not get paid for it! Seriously, it would be good idea, she writes exquisitely and has a better sense of fair play than anyone I have ever met. I've known her for 57 years, I know she would be great at it!
