Blixxer v1.2

Anyone have anything in mind for our next Blixxer?

Day? Time? Place?

Joe? When are you coming into town next?

Personally I really liked Brewers. I loved the outdoor porch. The food wasnt over priced. The guys seemed to enjoy the brew. Service was good. And there was a wonderful view from a-top Bi-Lo for certain folks. hehe

I am out of town the 16th, 17th and 18th of May. Don't know if folks are wanting to meet up again that soon or not.

Comments

I'll be there sometime this month, basically on the way past to someplace else - then maybe once in June . . . gonna be a while before i'm there long enuf to commit to a blix . . .

definitely from 6/28 to 7/6 however.

I had a great time at the Blixxer! I really liked the place, I dont care when, or where it is I will be there.... I just hope there is a better turn out this time.

I'm open to pretty much anytime. Brewers was good, the burgers are huge and very tasty. But I'm up for anywhere y'all want to go. It was a fun experience and I agrre that it would be nice to see a larger turnout next time.

I'm reading some comments from folks who didn't attend BlixxerI who seem to be interested now that the ice has been broken. We need a date, time, and location. Saturday evening seems to be best for most. Brewers was great, any other suggestions? A date....let's hear it! More motivation? I suggest a raffle! I will personally donate 2 illegal aliens and the book & movie rights to Thomas Ravenel's unfortunate fall from grace (I stole them!) to be raffled. Maybe have an open mic night. UCB has some great parabolic mics from what I hear. I will go topless if that helps! C'mon, sign up let's go have some more fun! IDEAS????????????

I had a great time at the inaugural blixxer. Enjoyed meeting everyone that was there and sharing a brew together. I will be out of town 15-18 May, but June is wide open for me now. Any place that has good food, an outdoor patio for us tobacco abusers and decent prices sounds good to me!

who's picking the date? Place is awesome for me :)
Love their pizza!

We should definitely schedule one for somewhere in the dates of June 28-July 6 when we know Joe Farrell can be there. I would also like to see one in May at some point. Joe flew a long way to attend the first one and has the longest trip to make so whatever we do I think we should try to accommodate him to some extent. He has said he might be passing through in May, perhaps we can do something then if he can give soem notice on dates. It would be nice if we could find a date when both Joe and freddiefiredog were both going to be in town. Lisa2 has to come this time too, I've decided to add another incentive. If she attends, I'm going to buy her a beer and let her ride my Harley (not in that order!). Can't wait to see her in leather!

we went out yesterday and it was great! Perfect weather!

If Joe is just passing through in May and wont have time to meet up what about the 24th? It'll be a month after that at least when we have our next one when Joe is for certain going to be able to attend.

I'm good with the 24th!

Posted by topgunscooter - Sun, 2008-05-04 16:42

Hey I'm new to this Blixer thing but looking t everyone dates May 24th and June 28th would be the best next two dates to meet up. I Nominate Steph as coordinator, she seems non-bias and some people had trust issues with the last organizers. I can help but I think all we need to do is set a date, call Brewers and eberyone who shows does the rest right? July Blizer should be on the sandbar during waterfest, that would be interesting,,,no wi-fi there.....

Theres really no need to call Brewers. There was plenty of space out on the porch. We met at seven, which I personally thought was a good time. The heat will start to temper down by then I think.

I'm out for the sandbar idea. Theres certain things people should never be exposed to in life and me in a bathing suit or shorts for that matter is one of them. I blind people with my fish belly white skin!

As for those who had issues before: Honestly.... It's just people meeting up with other people. In my case I already knew most of them and you probably do too.

Personal invites from me to Zoo, AngelGirl and Pop-Pulse! Knowing AngelGirl and reading Pop-Pulse I can't imagine how many laughs we will have in the evening! And Zoo, we need more weemons! If I hadn't of brought my niece last time I would have been the only one.

GWG You too! We wont tell anyone who you are! I'll make a little name tag for you that says UCB. *cheesy grin*

...I have a registered trademark on "UCB" and "Undercoverbrother"

I'm going to be selling T-Shirts before long. *cheesy grin*

I'd rather a Bikini in Black with UCB on the butt. I gotta find a life. Has anyone taken UndercoverSister? You should set up a booth at the Blixer, I bet you'd sell out. Dress like James Bond and sell all sort of UCB stuff, I want a UCB Mousepad.........

Posted by Huhnscheibe - Sun, 2008-05-04 21:09

a power wardrobe, black suit, detective coat, white shirt, conservative tie, black laced up shoes, minimal jewelry, cleanly shaven, wearing dark sunglasses and a black hat. That may be UCB, when you least expect it.

BTW, UCB on the butt is extra.

Steph, I have another cancer-related surgery in June, and that is preoccupying me right now. I'd love to go to a future one once I'm healed and my hair is all back. It's been slow growing since the chemo.

I understand. I'll be thinking of you anyway!

If you are feeling up to it physically I would love to see you attend. Please don't let the hair deter you. I firmly believe that everyone there would view such sparsity as a badge of honor and a testimony to your strengh of character. Be well and stay strong!

Thanks for the kind words. I am vain about my hair. I always got compliments on its curls and thickness. I think it's coming back curly again but is taking soooo long. I took my son to Bateaux last Saturday night, and he asked me to wear one of my wigs---I hadn't worn them in several months. Thanks a lot!

but I'll have to see what's going on that week in my land :)
I have been traveling a lot lately, and.. welll we'll have to see. I'd love to meet some of you... And I'm glad there's going to be beer there when I meet some of you :)
