It would not be his first "fling"....What a shame that when alcohol is involved, moral compasses go out the window..It's about time we elected politicians with morals. If you decide to run for office, be prepared to let the skeletons out of the closet. All your negative history, and all those things you did, way back when,that you wish you could take back will be brought to the forefront.

Babsfeather, I don't know the answer to your question. But please be careful what you post... especially when you're "not 100% sure." This man has three young children, two of whom are old enough to read. I know that public figures are fair game, and some can't resist the thrill of gossiping about their private lives. But please remember that these public figures are just people, like you and me. This is a very small town, and a very public blog. Please stop treating it like a high school locker room.

Babsfeather's original post is another nasty, blatant Shealy/Bates tactic, and should be viewed as nothing more than that. It is evident that the Ceips campaign is trying to start a whisper campaign about Tom Davis - one that might seemingly try to balance out the marital indiscretions on the part of Ceips herself.

Honestly – how low can Catherine Ceips and her people go? First her Chief of Staff gets caught planting an illegal alien in Tom Davis’ home, and now this garbage?

I am sure they will deny having anything to do with this attack but it’s obvious where it came from.

Senator Ceips can’t win a campaign based on the issues, so she has to resort to political dirty tricks and smear jobs like this one.

Enough is enough, Catherine. We need a Senator who can run on a record of accomplishment, but it’s becoming more and more obvious with each amateur political attack you direct at Tom Davis that you just don’t have a record of accomplishment to run on.
