Another Judge Without a Backbone

Last year the Brett Kinney case and now the Welden case. What or how heinious does a crime have to be for a Judge to apply the law as it is written in the statutes. The death penalty is very easily applied by statue. There should be no wavering or knee bending to fellow lawyers or special interests.

If the Judge would follow the statues as written, the death penalty is appropriately applied.

Just another example of a Judge (lawyer) applyig his personal beliefs instead of what is statuatory.

I hope Wick gets to feel a little pain & suffering while incarcerated, hopefully a colonoscopy by someone named Bubba or Leroy.

God Bless the Welden family.

The 14th Judicial circuit is....
...a five county area which includes Beaufort County is PRO-CRIMINAL.

Most of the cases are NEVER prosecuted and never go to trial.

If you want to be a career criminal, come to Beaufort County because the Sheriff and the Solicitor and the Judges will take good care of you.

Criminals win BIG-TIME in Beaufort County, including rape and murder.

You can thank Solicitor Duffie Stone on this one, he lost this case badly.

And unfortunately for the rest of us, he doesn't seem to mind.

but I hope this case will change the way they do somethings. I fear not, but if there are people watching that work in law enforcment currently, and I know there are, crimes against a person... Take them seriously! I can't believe he got busted for breaking into someone's house, and they gave him probation, after everything "non violent" he's already been picked up for. Breaking into someone's house is a very serious crime!!!

Who says LE doesn't take those crimes seriously? All LE can do is book 'em.

What is with our cry baby Judges? Did the 1 who sentenced that heffer Morgan-Major-pain in the arse, cry in court too?

that write the reports, that deal with the victims, they are a huge part of said system. If they don't make reports or get the info right in the reports, then it won't even make it to a solisitor to go to trial in the first place. I am not selecting LE officers out, but the ones on here likely know why I said what I did.

I know full well what it entails. You are correct, the info must be given in the correct manner. Ultimately, it is up to the Solicitors office. They are backlogged as it is and you, as a CDV expert/spokesperson, know it takes alot for them to send a case to court.
