Keep those BHS sports blogs coming, Dad! There are many folks here who support your effort and enjoy your posts. Anyone that opens one and isn't interested has the freedom to go on to something else. This is a public blog and, last time I checked, topics weren't restricted. I've been rather quiet lately, but those who know me (and if you know me, my blog name identifies me clearly) know that I am a RABID BHS fan. I have many former students who participate in athletic and other activities at BHS and they know that I try my best to get to see them play or perform when I can. I have not had the pleasure of seeing the jv or varsity boys play baseball this season as I have grandchildren playing ball as well. My oldest granddaughter plays at BMS (where I teach) as well as travel ball, her 12-year-old sister plays travel ball and just started PALS. Their two younger sisters also just started PALS, and my grandson is playing minor league this year! Do you get the picture???? LOL! I did get to a girls' softball game last Friday and, even though they lost, I enjoyed watching them play their best right up to the last out.
BTW - BMS plays LIMS at Basil Green tomorrow at 4:00 and we play McCracken at BMS on Thursday at 4:00 (these two teams have a history and it's ALWAYS a great game regardless of who wins!) BMS is the defending middle school softball champion going into the last week of regular season play next week and are undefeated in the region so far. BHS has several talented 8th graders to look forward to next year - both girls and boys! GO GRYPHONS and EAGLES!
