Does anyone here have or know anyone that has an embroidery machine that is willing to help out a local group?
We are working on a project and need about 30 duplicates of the same thing done. They are pretty small, but to large to do by hand within our time frame. We called for quotes around town... and oh my goodness goodness! WOW!
We would be more than willing to provide the materials and give some cash for the time. But can not spend the hundreds the shops around here are asking for.

...they can all be done on the same piece of fabric. So it's there would be no switching out t-shirts or anything.
Try calling Creative Stitches because she sells sewing and embroidery machines. She may know of one of her customers that might help out. Otherwise, there are several listed in the yellow pages under "Embroidery", but they will probably charge for their work. My wife has a nice sewing/embroidery machine that connects to a computer. She works full time though and can't help.
...about asking them about their clients. But, do you think they would want to give business away?
It's really not a huge project, and I would do it myself but embroidery machines are really expensive. It's on my wish list though!
I hear that there are a lot of mexicans looking to pick up cash work.
