Since this won't make the paper any other way, I'm posting this. Today Robert Smalls Middle School, representing the North, played the South represented by Hilton Head Middle School in the annual North vs. South Chess Tournament. Whale Branch Middle School and Beaufort Academy were unable to attend for the North. Robert Smalls won the trophy for the second consecutive year. The score was something like 24-12. Members of the RSMS team were Justice Oliver, Tremaine Aiken, Cameron Fletcher, Joey Galtelli, Arlen Ho, Jason Frazier, Dillon Yates, Dakota Young, and Matthew Garner. Mr. Brian Kirkpatrick is the coach. WAY TO GO GENERALS!!!
