My granddaughter and I had the pleasure of attending the final performance of Beaufort High Theater's "Back to the 80's" on Sunday evening. We were completely entertained from the time the curtain went up through the curtain call. Every single person in the cast and crew is to be commended for the obvious effort that went into the performance. A personal shout-out goes to some cast members who hold a special place in my heart: Sam, Bryan, Amanda, Andrew, Gloria, and Chelsea – you guys totally rocked, and I’m so very proud of you all!
There are some wonderful people (adults and students) doing amazing things in our school system. Bravo, Bravo!

The musical at Beaufort High was good. Those students and teachers really worked hard. I am amazed that they remembered all of those lines, sang, danced, and acted so many evenings last week. I am sure they were exhausted, but it was a job well done.
The band that played for the production was AMAZING. In my opinion, that's what held everything together so well for the kids.
Without such great musicians, (I was particularly impressed with the guitarist & bass player) it would not have been as wonderful a show. Kudos!
I wish someone could find out who the musicians were and post their names, they all deserve a standing ovation.
Sorry, I didn't mean to slight the musicians; they were awesome as well. I don't think they had the full band on Sunday evening though. Either way, the entire production was wonderful! Bravo to all!
My spouse found out a few of the musicians' names but not all:
Billy Sargent on Guitar
Neil Thompson on Bass Guitar
Jenny Stiles on Piano
her husband ________ Stiles on Drums
Didn't get his first name, sorry.
Hope the spellings are correct! Maybe someone will know the rest of the band's names, these were all we were able to find out.
