beaufortgazette.com terms of use - please read
Folks, we're in another of those periods of too many inappropriate posts on the site, and I would ask that you please reread the terms of use to which you agreed when you registered on this site.
The personal attacks at other users have to stop. That includes all references to changing the wording in a user's name to make it derogatory (shadoze, etc.).
The blogs can be a wonderful tool to exchange ideas and opinions, and the fact that we have an active blogging community is great. But it absolutely must be done civilly. Disagree with another poster's opinions all you want, but don't make it personal.

..do I need to start popping popcorn again?
over last weeks drama performance....
Steve, you might stop to consider that some folks on here are just poor spellers!
Seriously, that was my faux pas, and I will refrain from doing so in the future.
I thought things had been very civil here recently, with the notable exception of UTTSM (now back as uTIREDtosilenceme). Can't you keep him/her off permanently?
Thanks for all that you do to maintain this forum. It's usually a nice place to visit.
Why would you need Steve Blust to kick off that blogger? That blogger said you claimed to have some evidence to his identity. What was that about? If you have it, why not just expose that blogger and be done with it. Its seems kind of childish that you would need the paper to help you. Just my thought. And I did think the poem was funny.
I personally have never agreed with much of what Lisa2 has to say, but the content of that poem was abominable and wasn't the least bit funny. Steve did exactly what he should have done. Everyone is entitled to an opinion here, but those opinions should be in good taste!
That you and that blogger were having your differences. I saw you on here talking about getting drunk and going to Waffle House. Is that in good taste? It wasn't funny and it wasn't in good taste. At least that other character was original. I'm not that easy to offend.
You might read the Poppulse live blog from Oscar night. It was he who jokingly deemed the event a drinking game with no real alcohol involved. I simply played along with the charade. I did in fact go to Waffle House after the show, but I was not drunk as my joking post suggested. There is a major difference between that playful exchange and someone's physiological structure being questioned! BTW, I wasn't trying to offend you at all.
When Steve posted this right after I use the phrase 'nipple slip' in a hollywood blog I run to make sure I'm not the one banned!
I seriously was concerned!
you tried it again?
Just kidding, ask my momma, I can't say nothing about anyone else's language :)
Hello there Mr. Blust,
After reviewing some other newspaper's blogs ( unsuitable language for debate ) for the past two weeks, I have come to appreciate this blog much more! Thank you for your efforts!
Found this today. Enjoy! LOL
