Business seminar to focus on legal issues

The National Federation of Independent Business is holding a seminar on 10 ways small-business owners can avoid lawsuits from 6 to 8 p.m. March 4 at Golden Corral in Beaufort.

Beth Milito, senior executive counsel with the federation’s legal foundation, will discuss the impact of hiring illegal immigrants and other issues facing small-business owners. The event is sponsored by AT&T.
