Ordering is at St. John's Lutheran Church next Saturday, January 19. There are other times as well, but I'm not sure when they are.

And yes, it seems like a good menu for February and the order date will allow many of our seniors to have their February Social Security checks by that time.
You know you have to pay when you order, right?
Yes, the payment needs to be made when the order is placed. A couple months ago the final order date was AFTER the seniors had received their SS checks.
Final order date will be Feb. 4 this year for the month of February.
The SS checks come out at different times for some retirees but most of the really older ones still get their checks on the 3rd of every month, or on the last business day before the 3rd.
Did you read the SC news this week that we will stop rehiring retired teachers by means of the Teri Program? That program seems to have been "breaking the bank" in the SC budget, because it had to cover ALL retiring SC state employees.
Be watchful in the paper, though, about the dates. The orders have to be in to the regional office by the 4th. I keep track by going to Lowcountry Today or Today in the Lowcountry, whatever it's called (in the Gazette). For example, I called DSS on New Year's Eve to see if they were still taking orders. No one could tell me. I was referred to St. John's. I saw in the paper they would be taking orders the 2nd for this past Monday's due date to the regional office. That's when I ordered for January.
