Unbelievable, another good old days post!
I have only realities... .
Radio station WSIB used to mean "we're Stuck In Beaufort..." we didn't know at the time how much things would change...I remember how cold Crystal Lake was even in Summer...I remember Ribaut Rita...cutting school & hitching to the beach - partying at the Old haunted Fort on Ladies Island...outrunning the Highway Patrol coming off of Broadriver Bridge by ducking into a dirt road and cutting off the lights...the old Drive Inn....drag racing behind the bolts and screws factory at the end of town...playing fooseball at the only arcade in town...towing a van full of kegs on to the dunes for an all weekender...riots and a fire at Robert Small Middle School ...Water Festival when you knew almost everyone there...
Wow...I feel old............
