The week is almost over, and we didn’t get chance to talk about “Iron Man,” but we saw it Saturday and loved it. (Although, one small caveat, we saw it at the drive-in — which we love, by the way. The drive in, that is. However, we didn’t realize how much dialogue was in Iron Man. And with all the explosions and action coming through our tinny little Jeep speakers, we spent most of the movie straining to hear what was being said. So, we’d like to see it again, soon, in beautiful Dolby surround sound.)

No, this isn’t a joke about Roger Clemens (snicker), have you seen those Vanity Fair photos of Miley Ray Cyrus? We are, for the most part, VERY liberal when it comes to artistic expression. We believe in free speech in all of its ugly forms. But, this. Man. Gross.

Battle of the creeps

We were OK with the ouster this week on Idol. Chekezie, we hardly knew you, and, you know, we're cool with that.

Although, we're not sure who we hate more at the moment, the creepy little muppet David or the pandering Kristy Lee Cook.

Before we get started, here are our quick thoughts on our two favorite topics of the moment, American Idol and Lost:

IDOL: We were disappointed that Amanda the scary rock nurse got voted off this week. We think there’s a fix. The Idol producers wanted to save money and were spending, literally, thousands weekly on Marlboro Reds and cans of Aquanet.
