The text messages and e-mails started late Monday night and have not let up all week for South Carolina Stingrays defenseman Rory Rawlyk.
The playful taunts and jabs back-and-forth between Rawlyk and his old teammates from the Cincinnati Cyclones began almost immediately once the teams for the American Conference finals were set.

Submitted by palmettocrab on Wed, 2007-12-05 15:06.The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter of delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.
My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The Perfect Day...continued
Submitted by palmettocrab on Mon, 2007-09-17 15:09.A Note from Glenn:
If this is the first special report you're reading, please take a minute to review the ones from Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday first so that you have a better understanding of exactly what "The Perfect Day" is.
Today's report is all about preparation, not panic. Our report, from Kenneth Trump, one of the country's foremost school security experts, has many great tips-but there is a lot more you need to know (especially when it comes to terror scenarios) so please be sure to also take a look at his website, which is included at the end of the article.
