Would the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights?
An open letter to the local daily paper -- almost every local daily paper in America:
I remember reading All the President's Men and thinking: That's journalism. You do what it takes to get the truth and you lay it before the public, because the public has a right to know.
This housing crisis didn't come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration.
Democrats Love Ayers-Bursey Types
Submitted by blaze2453 on Wed, 2008-10-22 13:27.Ayers, co-founder of Weather Underground, is being ignored by the media and Democrats because they support what he and his wife did back in the 60's. Revolutionaries are worshipped by these folks. Same way with Brett Bursey, a former Beaufort resident who became a terroist in Columbia, SC by throwing a Molotov Coctail at the Military Entrance Processing Site. He is the darling of the Democrat Party in Columbia for serving time in jail for that and other crimes. He protested the nuclear power facility in Augusta, the President's visit to Columbia and much more.
Other info on Palin
Submitted by blaze2453 on Sun, 2008-09-21 08:30.From a screen writer in New York who works with an Alaskan legislator. I don't want to reveal her name.
Dear Friends.
My email box continues to be deluged with info requests about Sarah Palin. I've done little else but answer SP questions since she was nominated because I find myself in the odd position of actually knowing her personally. Hence this email.

Palin's leadership
Governor has been effective, but leaves details to others
(09/06/08 22:39:02)
Now that Sarah Palin has burst onto the national scene, Americans may be wondering:
As governor of Alaska, what kind of leader has she been?
In our view, Sarah Palin has been very effective -- surprisingly so, considering her previous leadership experience was as mayor of a town with about 6,000 people.

Submitted by blaze2453 on Wed, 2008-09-17 17:52.Byron York of the National Review has shown that the hoopla over McCain's ad was all lies. McCain is telling the truth.

It is very sad to see a prominent newspaper columnist like Richard Cohen lie through his teeth for political expediency, but that is what Democrats do.
This legislation is comprehisive sex training for children who are little more than toddlers. It is not just teaching kids to stay away from strangers.

FDR 's Comical Yet Tragic Attempt to Socialize Airmail
Submitted by blaze2453 on Fri, 2008-08-08 09:32.As most people are aware, Congress amended the Constitution immediately after Franklin D. Roosevelt's untimely death in 1945 limiting presidential term limits to 2 four-year terms. This was due primarily because of the immense power Roosevelt had acquired after being elected to a fourth term. His reign almost became tyrannical, even though his New Deal policies helped millions of the poor. Some, however, believe that had WWII not come along the Great Depression would have lasted many more years due to these socialistic policies and programs. One such program failed miserably.

FDR 's Comical Yet Tragic Attempt to Socialize Airmail
Submitted by blaze2453 on Thu, 2008-08-07 15:30.As everyone knows, Congress amended the Constitution which limits Presidential service to two four-year terms. This was done immediately after Franklin D. Roosevelt's untimely death in 1945 just after being elected for a fourth term. There were many reasons why this term length was changed, but among the most obvious at the time was FDR's massive power and influence. Some experts even say his New Deal lengthened the Depression and were it not for World War II we might never have recovered. He tried to control every aspect of American power.
Mistreatment of Veterans and USFSPA of 1983
Submitted by blaze2453 on Wed, 2008-07-16 09:09.Thanks to Democrat Patricia Schroeder, in 1983 Congress passed the Uniformed Services Former Spouse Act. This abusive law allows former spouses of military members to collect up to one half of active duty pay plus child support, and up to one half of the members retirement for life as long as they were married for at least 10 years. This continues despite the spouse remarrying. There are spouses out there collecting as many as 3 retirements from 3 former military husbands. A spouse could be married to Osama Bin Laden and still collect. The following are other abuses of this law:
