Angie Achieve's a Goal
Submitted by angie_roadrunner on Fri, 2006-02-10 04:48.Since the begining of my workouts with my trainer Lori she has wanted me to do an hour of cardio along with the weight training. I was only able to do about 40 minutes sometimes 45. BUT....everyday this week I have completed my hour on the treadmill at a pace of 3.5 for the first 45-50 minutes and then 2.5 for the remainder of my time. I am very happy about this milestone. I pray it is only the first of many. Thanks Lori for believeing in me.

Angie's night Kicking & Screaming
Submitted by angie_roadrunner on Thu, 2006-02-02 19:45.I rode the bike for 25 minutes and then went into the aerobics room to try the kick boxing class. It was a blast! But it kicked my butt! I didn't last for the whole thing but I went as long as I could (about 25 minutes) and got a good workout as well as had lots of fun! I think I will try it again next week without riding the bike first.

Angie's in Pain
Submitted by angie_roadrunner on Wed, 2006-02-01 13:29.Wow, I don't know about any of my team mates but I am in some serious pain. My legs are hurting sooooooo bad. I told my trainer, Lori, that I know I will love her in the end but I was hateing her last night. Just kidding! I am very thankful to her for everything and no amount of physical pain will ever equal the emotional pain of being this overweight. With her as my motivator and trainer I know I can accomplish any goal I set.
Thank you Lori so much for pushing me! I really appreciate everything you are doing for me. You have built up my confidence so much.
Kip from what everyone is saying in their blogs about their trainers you did a great job at matching everyone up!
Angie's Monday Workout was Tough
Submitted by angie_roadrunner on Mon, 2006-01-30 22:05.Well I had my first workout with my new trainer Lori. She's really great! It was tough but I know in the end it will all be worth it. Seeing what great shape she is in and telling me she used to be heavy was really motivating for me. I appreciate her telling me that. She is truly an inspiration to me. She also gave me some great nutrition info and I am really excited about starting with my diet. Going to the grocery store tomorrow to pick up a few things.

Angie's Saturday Workout
Submitted by angie_roadrunner on Sat, 2006-01-28 12:17.Had a great time today on the cycle at Omni! Kipp sat and talked to me while I rode for 30 minutes. He's a great guy if you're having a hard time getting motivated to start your own healty lifestyle you should visit Omni and meet him. He'll give you the inspiration you need. I Got a new trainer today. Her name is Lori and I think I will really like her. She seems very motivating and I can't wait until our first workout on Monday. I told her to be tough on me I hope I don't regret that ha ha. I feel so possitive about finally getting into a healthy lifestyle. Thanks Omni and the Beaufort Gaze
Angie's first workout
Submitted by angie_roadrunner on Fri, 2006-01-27 15:14.Had my first workout today and I feel great. It feels good to be doing something for myself for a change. I didn't quite have the experience that Happy and Derrick had. My trainer was good at instructing me on how to use the weight machines but she didn't stay with me the whole time or talk about nutrition/diet with me at all. She seemed clueless about what the Battle of the Buldge was all about. Kip is really nice he encouraged me to come back tomorrow and get on the tread mill again. I was really proud of myself with how well I did with that. I walked at a speed of 3.2 for 10 minutes and then a light jog on 3.6 for 10 minutes and then a cool down walk for another 5 minutes a total of 25 minutes on the machine.

ANGIE'S BATTLE
Submitted by angie_roadrunner on Wed, 2006-01-25 18:04.Well I hope everyone is as excited as I am. I have been praying for the Lord to motivate me to lose this weight for a long time. To show me how to do it the right way. Without diet pills.
Honestly I have gotten so big this time I had really given up hope. NOT ANYMORE! I can do this. I know I can. Thanks to the blessing of the gym membership and a trainer. I am so siked about the whole thing. I can hardly wait to get started!
