Tree Slaughter

Well I know many people have probably noticed the large reduction of trees all around town.But aren't there suppose to be some kind of regulations on how many trees can be cut down.It also seems like just about every where they cut down a bunch of trees they put these preservation of open land trust signs up.Now someone please tell me how can you be preserving something while destroying another.At this rate we might not have much trees left.I mean who are these people,who do this anyway!

They send you a big check with a list of tasks. You cash the check, spend the money at places like Burger King and send money back.

Sound fishy already? Probably because it is.

This was an agreement that allowed American fast food restaurants to go into mexico.I think this could explain why so many of them are obese now and obesity can often lead to diabetes.Has anyone seen a movie called "Fast food nation".Well this movie exposes the health risk involved with eating fast food.I think they should put this movie in spanish and play in mexican theaters,so people can get an idea on what's helping to make them fat.Mexicans rarely spoke of obesity and diabetis before American fast food chains went to mexico.Mexican officials now say that it would be hard to get the fast f


Tanning booths in Beaufort!!

Has anyone noticed that we have two tanning booths in Beaufort now.Sometimes I wonder why people choose to go and pay to get a tan when you can just go outside in the sun and get one for free.Spending time in the sun can be good,but too much time in the sun can be bad.Back when I was in high school there was this caucasion girl in my class and she would always get tans.I mean she would have a tan just about everyday.Then she got skin cancer and had to leave school and get her Ged instead.I wonder why she got skin cancer!!!!Hint hint,tanning booth.
