Any of you people want to go kayaking tomorrow?
Submitted by adracer1 on Fri, 2008-10-03 14:10.I'm feeling kind of generous and have considered allowing some of you unclean samaritans to have me in your company for a few hours. If you want to go kayaking tomorrow I'm thinking of either crossing St Helena sound to Otter Is or putting in at Russ Point and paddling over to Old House. I'm open for suggestions...no I will not go jump in a lake or go drown myself. Try again.

USC vs Oregon, what a game.
Submitted by adracer1 on Fri, 2008-09-26 07:35.As expected anytime you have the Trojans going into Beaver stadium there's going to be fireworks.
The Beavers opened up early running hard in the middle against the Trojans. When the Trojans put more men in the box the Beaver's would go wide or dump into the flats. The Beavers went in at the half up 21-0.

Postponing the campaign!!
Submitted by adracer1 on Thu, 2008-09-25 06:38.If you're scared say you're scared. All this "Woe is me" talk. "Gotta put the campaign on hold", "the boogyman is gonna get us".
I smell a rat and it smells a lot like "Little Miss Piggy" himself, Karl Rove.
C'mon America, let's play the game head on and may the best candidate win.

A bail out plan I'd endorse
Submitted by adracer1 on Tue, 2008-09-23 15:49.Try this math! Great idea!
________________________________
If it were actually this straightforward and easy to do!
I’m against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
Instead, I’m in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a "We Deserve It Dividend".
To make the math simple, let’s assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up. So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.

Walter Mitty would be proud
Submitted by adracer1 on Tue, 2008-09-23 06:21.Sometimes as I read a blog entry all I can say is "WOW". We have bloggers having dinner at the White House, spies for NSA, several prophets, and a few Einsteins. Walter Mitty would be so proud.
Blogging....it's the new CB radio....with a keyboard.

Libertarians, their day is nigh
Submitted by adracer1 on Wed, 2008-09-17 19:35.I used to believe that libertarians were republicans who liked weed, shrooms, and who never let morality get in the way of a good time.
But I now think these guys have it right. They are fiscally conservative, innovative, and believe the gooberment needs to stay out of your private life. In other words, be all you can be, enjoy yourself, just don't expect Uncle to pay for it. I think I may live to see them have their day.

Oh how soon they forget
Submitted by adracer1 on Wed, 2008-09-17 05:55.Interesting story in todays sports section about Battery Creek High being swept by the Hilton Head Seahawks. But the headline reads "Beaufort High Swept in tennis". C'mon guys. Beaufort High is the one on Lady's Island. Battery Creek High is in Burton. Oh you've only been gone a short while and already you've forgotten. (awaiting the correction with tongue in cheek).
