Since the braindead are following the pied piper of politics Obama.....and are touting how income redistribution is great......I am going to do the same.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.....

I will no longer tip ANY service personnel. I will redistribute all tips to my favorite charity and take the tax credit.

I will no long give out pay raises to employees. I will redistribute the wages to those truly in need....a charity of MY CHOICE.....and take the tax credit.

Was thinking this past weekend as I was in Charleston....driving by campaign sign after campaign sign...and listening to the largely negative / no substance ads by BOTH parties. As I drove....I kept thinking "Why does ANYONE want to run for office". I do not have an answer.

In todays destructive politics...we see personal attack after personal attack.....we see false accusations....we see rumour and inuendo....we see hatred and vitreal....all in all ......the worst that USA has to offer.

Well here it is Friday Oct 10th, 2008....a full week after the Emergency Corporate Welfare Bailout plan was rushed into action.....and the market has lost yet another 20+% since the law was passed.

Add to it one HUGE party at AIG for the people ($440,000 dollars worth complete with fresh, relaxing, invigorating spa services compliments of the US Taxpayers), and a teeny weeny 38+ BILLION dollars more for those hard working AIG people, and here we are today...market below 8,000 points.....

It is with great reservation that I write this blog post.

We as a country in a capitalist society have reached the pinnacle of greed unheard of in the world. Before people start assuming that I am a liberal....I am not. I am a conservative voter who believes in businesses making a fair profit. However recent events on Wall Street and in Washington D.C. have transcended all previous thoughts.

I watched the nomination acceptance speech last night. I was impressed with the shear number of people attending. It felt a lot like Woodstock.

That being said......I will paraphrase the speech.

I Will give everybody....everything.......and it won't cost you a dime. I have NO Clue how to do it....(well...lets tax the 5% of the "working class" (implies taxing 100% of the weathly clasee).

Nobama was brain dead. Not one bit of substance...all fluff. If he doesn't get elected...he can always be a "fluffer".

Basic questions:

Anyone notice the overall LACK of LEADERSHIP in our community in regards to all of the shootings?

As a voter.....I expect them to DO SOMETHING.....not hide

Where are the mayors?
Where are the councilmen?
Where are the pastors and clergy?
Where are the editors of local papers?
Where are the TV reporters?
Where are the business leaders? (OH I am sorry...if Dick Stewart cant make a buck or a tax break,......he is silent.....not that shootings would affect his "development" of our area

Where are all of the so called "Leaders" of our community in regards to the recent shootings / murders???? Are they "Leading" by sticking their heads in the sand? Where are the town officials / Police Chiefs / councilmen? Why the silence??????

In most areas where this would have happened....officials would have been up in arms and in fromt of the press raising hell. Not here.

Where are the Editor blogs.....where are the messages from community leaders such as Pastors, business owners, law abiding citizens?

As a daily commuter down Rt. 170....I am routinely greeted with drivers who MUST be filthy rich......as they are driving their Escalades, Suburbans, (insert name of your favorite gas guzzler here)at speeds that make my 60mph seem like I am standing still. With all of the acceleration....you would think gas is now .25 cents a gallon.

They share other characteristics as well....
- typically a person with their cell phone glued to their ear

After much soul searching I have decided to vote for Paris Hilton. My reasons are simple. She is HOT......the other candidates are NOT.

The decision process was simple....just look at Obama and McCain. We have one cadidate with effectively ZERO experience and lots of charm, and another candidate witt LOTS of experience and a severe need of a healthy dose of prunes every morning. I am leaning towards the HOT vote this year which leads me to Paris Hilton.

The local gangsta wannabees may have forgotten all about sheepdogs....they may just find out....
